Hey I’m Rihan, Cape Town–based visual artist whose practice moves between photography, installation, and design. My most current work is self-portraiture and archival practice, where I use my own body as both subject and site of inquiry.

My art explores queer embodiment and identity as layered terrains that intersect with, and challenge normative understandings of gender and representation. I aim to create spaces where identity and expression can exist in their most unapologetic and nuanced forms.
